SEO :Search Engine Optimisation
SEO stands for search engine optimisation. In its original sense Seo is a form of digital marketing to help a website rank on search
engines. The higher the website ranks, the more traffic it will receive
from people making searches using Google.
You can see why: if you don’t know the search engine optimisation
industry, you’d probably assume that when everyone else is going for
such a popular keyword, you should too.Today SEO has greatly evolved from what was formerly known as a dark art
and has shaken the spamm yreputation it once had. Webmasters formerly
would buy links and spam other websites with links to their own website
which would move them up the search engine results pages. This doesn’t
work anymore – in fact it has seen many websites removed from Google
permanently.
SEO can be broken down into two major areas: on site SEO everything to
do with the technical initiatives you can make with your own website,
and off site SEO the content marketing and online PR tricks that can
help position your website high on Google.
earch Engine Optimization (SEO), you’ve heard it from others and at least you know it is something that is very important and something you need for your website. Such sayings as ” If you are not on Google, you don’t exist” are becoming a reality.
Search engines have specific requirements as to how your website should be organized and tagged. If your website complies with these requirements, your website will be indexed by the search engines and evaluated as to where it should be listed when a search for a specific keyword(s) is made. This is commonly referred to as “On Site SEO” for example, placing titles and descriptions on a webpage code.
